Go4TMS - Order Import

On top of the standard functionalities in the Go4TMS - Transport Software app to manage your transports efficiently, creation of orders can be even more automated by installing the optional Go4TMS - Order Import app.

The main features of the Go4TMS - Order Import app aim for automatically importing orders that you receive through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) from your customers:

• Use the standard Go4TMS Order Import XML structure to import orders into Go4TMS - Order Import app (or customize your own import order process based on the XML or other file structure that you receive from your customers)

• Imported orders are temporary stored in Import Order tables so you can track the original data that was received from your customer before processing

• Import Order Mapping tables allow data mapping of external values from your customer's systems into internal values known in Go4TMS, like for example external address numbers, external good numbers, unit of measure codes, equipment codes, reference codes, ...

• A Job Queue will take care of the automatic processing of imported orders into TMS Orders

• And last but not least: not only new orders can be created through the Import Order process. Also updates to existing orders and cancellation of orders can be handled through the Order Import app

• A standard Go4TMS Order Status Update XML will export updates to your customer with the latest information in the TMS Order

• Several events in the Go4TMS application can trigger the sending of an automatic update, like for example order accepted, order planned, order execution started, order execution finished, Proof of Delivery document linked to order, etc.

• Per customer you will be able to configure which status updates need to be sent and how they need to be delivered to your customer
